An interesting side note: Although Dave worked on this job as a mechanic, the editors of Popular Science magazine thought him too young (13 Years old) to be photographed and included in the article as they felt readers would not believe he could do it. The truth is that Dave was already an accomplished mechanic for several years by this time. Marvin's pictures as well as his name are seen throughout the article.
